![]() I just figured this out on my Mac finally. TLDR: How do I bring back the option to type in my display name right before joining each meeting, not having it saved. I just want to click my meeting invite link, and then type my display name and click join, that's 2 steps. I realize I can create an account, load the app, log in, go to my settings, profile, edit, which then opens up the web browser, and I have to change the display name for my account from the website, and THEN click the join meeting link. I have looked through ALL the settings in the app as best I can (on Windows and Macbook) and can't find a way to bring that option back. Well one time I forgot to uncheck that box, and now my display name is saved in between meetings and the option to change the my display name before the meeting no longer shows up, and I have to join the meeting with the incorrect name, and then change it once I am already in and connected, this is a huge privacy concern for me. I use the downloaded program, and usually when I click a join meeting link that someone sends me, it gives the pop where it says "join with video or not, etc" but it also had the option to type in your display name, and it had this dumb little box checked "save my display name for next time" and I had to uncheck that box every time. ![]() So, I have an issue, so I use a different display name for different groups of people that I have to have a zoom meeting with.
